The GH Chef is the first ever horizontal juicer manufactured by Hurom. While it may be their first effort, we must say that this is an amazing juicer, that easily equals the quality of the Omega Sana 606. In terms of performance it runs at 80 RPM and like most horizontal juicers it performs best with leafy greens and hard vegetables. However, it also brings much more than juicing the table, since you can use this device to make: pasta, baby food, nut butters and fish cakes to name a few. This diversity can be achieved through a range of attachments that come in the box.
Ergonomic Design
The Hurom GH Chef is one of the best-looking juicers ever made. It has an ergonomic design, that has been perfected for simple horizontal juicing. The materials used throughout this device are food grade ABS plastics. They are BPA free, meaning that no chemicals will leech into your juice from the plastic. The augur is made of GE Ultem. This plastic is 8 times stronger than the standard plastics you would find in other juicers and will allow this crucial part to stay in operation for decades.
Juicer Versatility
A big part of the GH is, as mentioned earlier, the variety it can provide. In the box, you will be provided with a homogenising blank and 4 nozzles. These can be easily inserted instead of the some of the juice specific parts and will allow you to make a huge variety of foodstuffs. Not all horizontal juicers can do this and the strong performance of this device makes it one of the best.
Unique Features
Another interesting feature of this juicer is the addition of a pulp outlet cover that attaches to the pressure cap. This angles the pulp downwards, helping to reduce the risk of pulp falling away from the container. The GH also has a grill built into the main body that sits below the juicer container. This grill will catch any drips of juice once the container is out of the way, preventing your work-surface from being stained.
