Blendtec Xpress Blender

The entry level smoothie maker from Ktec, suitable for low volume operations including juice bars, milk shake bars, pubs, cocktail bars, cafes and restaurants and for the discerning home user.

Packing an almighty punch - the eXpress blender uses the ICB3 motor boasting 2 Horsepower. It’s smaller in size than the other Blendtec commercial blenders so takes up less counter space but still features the direct drive motor and solid state electronics which make Blendtec blenders the preferred choice for Juice & Smoothie Bars throughout the UK.

It has a LCD display which feeds back cycle counts and other useful information and features 5 pre-programmed speed configurations which automatically shutdown the blender when finished. They include 1. Low Speed for 30 seconds, 2. High Speed for 30 seconds, 3. Changing blade speeds for 14 seconds, 4. High energy cycle running 23 seconds - used for easy to blend smoothies, 5. High energy cycle running 35 seconds - used for easy to blend fruit smoothies, 6. Pulse - blends mixture at a constant HIGH speed (70 percent power) while button is depressed.

Blendtec have done away with knobs and switches in favour of their Smart-Touch™ control panel which is wipe clean and waterproof. To wash your jug, you simply fill it up half way with warm water and add a tiny drop of washing up liquid - set it to go on full power and your jug is rigorously cleaned. The Blendtec Xpress jug is now made from a co-polyester material that has greater chemical resistance, improved sound dampening qualities, and contains no BPA (Bisphenol A). The functional, low cost - high quality co-polyester jugs make this smoothie maker one of the best in it’s category.

What is BPA Free?

BPA (Bisphenol-A) is a cancer-causing industrial chemical used to make polycarbonate plastic, epoxy resins and other products. It was found to leach out from many food and beverage containers including those used by our babies and children. BPA Free means that there is no Bisphenol-A in the material used in the Total Blender jug, Blendtec are currently the only blender manufacturer who provides BPA Free material to the UK & European market.
