The Waterwise 4000 water distiller is a compact and portable water purification system perfect for the home or travelling and it now comes supplied with a 4 litre glass collection bottle which can be stored inside the distiller. The boiling chamber on this model is internally fully lined with stainless steel, even the lid and combined with the glass collection jug ensures your water does not come into contact with any nasty contaminants during the distillation process. The Waterwise distiller 4000 is simple to use, just fill the chamber with tap water, plug it in, put the water jug next to it and and press start - the water distiller will automatically stop when the cycle is finished (4 litres in under 4 hours).
The tap water is heated to 212°F (100°C) killing microbes such as bacteria, cysts and viruses. Steam rises leaving behind dead microbes, dissolved solids, salts, heavy metals and other substances. Low boiling light gases are discharged through a gaseous vent, Pure steam is condensed. Purified/distilled water then percolates through a coconut shell carbon filter, enhancing quality by aeration, degasification, and adsorption of VOCs (volatile organic compounds). The 100% steam distilled water is now ready for drinking and cooking.

What is Distilled Water?
Distilled water is water which has been turned into vapour, so that all its impurities are left behind. Rising vapour cannot carry a particle of mineral water - it will not carry disease germs, dead or alive, nor any waste product of any kind. The secret is that the vapour rises between all the suspended particles and chemicals in the air. Then, by condensing, it is turned back to pure water by the Waterwise water distiller.
