Suitable for use in bars and restaurants, the jug is fitted with an Ice Blade to cope with frozen ingredients, making it ideal for fresh or frozen fruit smoothie, iced coffees, milkshakes and cocktails. It also homogenises and performs well at soups, sauces and other general blending tasks.
Its high speed stainless steel blades create perfectly blended drinks from almost any ingredients and it can crush a full load of ice in just three seconds. It has a metal to metal drive shaft and sealed bearings with a 2 speed motor for blending various produce. A thermal cut out device protects the motor from over-heating by shutting down when it gets too hot.
The virtually unbreakable 1.4 litre polycarbonate jug is see through and has graduated markings for easy measuring. The thermoplastic lid has a removable bung which allows produce to be fed in whilst the machine is blending and a tamper is also included with the Vitamix Drink Machine. It performs equally well with 125 ml or 1.4 litre of produce in the jug.
All in all, the Vitamix Drink Machine is an excellent choice for commercial operations and is also very popular in the domestic kitchen and among raw food enthusiasts.
* Vitamix warranty is 3 years parts and 1 year on labour (customer has to pay for labour charges and return carriage). The 3 year parts warranty is calculated from date of manufacture as indicated by the serial number on the machine and NOT date of purchase. It is a back to base warranty. Items like drive sockets and jugs/blades are excluded from warranty unless they are proven to be defective (i.e. they fail within a few weeks of purchase).
