Stockli Dehydrator - Drying with the Stockli Dorrex Food Dehydrator is a natural and simple way to conserve fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, herbs, meat and home made jerky. Dried food retains the maximum nutritional value when dehydrated at the right temperature and consequently is not only very healthy but tastier than shop bought products because no artificial preservatives are added.
The Easy-clean body is made from food safe plastic and this food drier is equipped with variable temperature control with fine adjustment between 35 and 70 °C (86 - 158 °F) to provide consistent, gentle drying by actively circulating warm air. This model also features a built in safety cut-out device which prevents the dehydrator from over-heating during the dehydrating process if the airflow is restricted due to overfilling.
The appropriate processing times for a variety of foods are printed on the transparent plastic lid of the food drier. The apparatus is fully CE certified. The range of Stockli food dehydrators have a smaller footprint than other food driers and are ideal for the space challenged kitchen.
Sturdily constructed of food safe, corrosion proof, taste-free polypropylene, it comes complete with 3 dishwasher safe plastic drying trays. Each tray can hold up to half a kilo of produce and a maximum of 10 trays can be used at any one time with this food dehydrator.
