Omega VERT VRT350 HD Juicer

The Omega VRT330HD juicer is the latest vertical juicer by Omega and features super tough auger and juicing screen made from GE Ultem. The slow speed action of 80 RPM results in minimal heat build up and oxidation ensuring enzymes remain intact and the juice lasts longer. Designed with the health conscious in mind and those who want to introduce a wider variety of produce into their daily juicing routine, it has the ability to juice everything including wheatgrass, leafy greens, soft fruits, hard fruits and vegetables. The 350HD is identical to the Omega VRT330HD juicer apart from colour.

The manufacturer Hurom (DongAh) reinvented the single auger juicer in 2007 by turning it on its head and giving it a juicing screen with a much larger surface area. This enables gravity to move the juice through more quickly than with a conventional masticating juicer, this results in a slow speed juicer capable of producing juice as fast as with a centrifugal juicer. The Omega VRT is another incarnation of the Hurom juicer and is identical in every way apart from a different style housing; the Omega model does not have a handle.

The Omega VRT350 HD Juicer has a small footprint so takes up little space on the countertop, meaning it can be left out for everyday use.  It has a heavy duty but quiet induction motor which operates at a slow 80 RPM to ensure nutritious juice.

This juice extractor can juice fruit, vegetables and wheatgrass as quick as you can feed the produce in. Whilst it does not feature a whole fruit feed chamber, the increase in speed over other slow speed juicers certainly makes up for this. The auger is much wider on the vertical juicers and the outer edge cuts the produce and draws it in to be ground on the large surface area of the juicing screen. It has a silicone brush that constantly revolves around the juicing screen cleaning excess pulp build up, ensuring that minimum blocking occurs during the juicing process. Exceptionally good at juicing softer fruits (berries, pineapple, oranges) which are notoriously difficult to juicer,

The Omega VERT VRT350 HD juicer comes with a fine juicing screen for juicing harder produce and leafy greens and a coarse screen for juicing softer fruits like berries and also for producing soya and nut milks.
