The KitchenAid Classic Food Mixer K45SS - the original kitchen classic is an integral part of any kitchen and is the predecessor to the Artisan range. Combining practicality and style, this classic piece of equipment is a must have for anyone with a passion for food and is an indispensable appliance for any kitchen environment  and is perfect for preparing small and large quantities of cake batters, sponges and meringues. It has a 4 litre stainless steel mixing bowl which locks securely on to the mixer.

The mixer has a tilt back head design that provides easy access to the bowl and the smooth, rounded design of the housing allows for easy cleaning. The full metal construction makes this machine robust, stable and reliable, whilst the the single attachment hub is engineered for ease of use and versatility. The powerful 250 watt, direct-drive motor has 10 mixing speeds with virtually silent operation.

KitchenAid's original planetary action provides fast and thorough mixing by moving the beater clockwise and the shaft counter clockwise, ensuring all ingredients are mixed evenly with no need to rotate the bowl. The Classic Food Mixer comes with three attachments, a flat beater for making batter, a wire whisk for egg whites, mayonnaise and air-infused creations and a dough hook for mixing and kneading yeast dough. All three are solid in construction and easily secured to the beater shaft with a simple twist. Additionally, a spiral bound user manual and recipe book is included.

The KitchenAid Classic Food Mixer K45 isn't the sort of appliance you'll wipe down and put away. Better to find a square foot of counter space for easy access; besides, this machine is as pretty as it is rugged - you'll want to show it off!
