A good supplier of vitamin B complex, vitamins A,C,D,E, and K along with phosphorous, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, selenium and zinc.
For enlivening sandwiches, salads and spreads or an interesting alternative garnish. Alfalfa means father of all foods' in Arabic, a lovely mild taste means you can't grow enough.

Properly stored, fresh alfalfa sprouts will keep for up to 6 weeks in your refrigerator but fresh is best. Never refrigerate wet sprouts.
