A sprouting seed generates heat through a chemical process during its germination but also need to be cooled to prevent mould and rot. The patented EasyGreen MikroFarm supplies a fine water mist and oxygen simultaneously to the seeds, thus cooling and oxygenating the seed and water. It also has its own water reservoir so the water is only used once and then drained off eliminating the possibility of particles clogging the jets and nozzles like other automatic sprouters. The reservoir allows solutions to be added like liquid kelp for extra nutrition or hydrogen peroxide for disinfecting the crops.
