The Champion Juicer 2000+ Model MAR-220 is certainly one of the best built juice extractors on the market and you will probably never need another machine in your lifetime. This is a seriously reliable commercial juicer but these days is mainly used in the domestic kitchen due to its versatility and the fact it comes backed with a 10 year warranty on its motor and 5 years on parts.
It's been around now for more than 50 years and remains one of our most popular selling juicers. It features a completely metal housing and stainless steel juicing blades and is one of the easiest juicers to assemble, use and clean. It has the largest feed chute of any professional juicer, so less preparation time is needed chopping up your produce. The masticating action whilst slower than
Centrifugal juicers will produce a juice with a higher nutritional quality and a larger yield and this is apparent in the darker coloured juice that is produced by this extractor. It is however slightly faster than the
Single Auger and
Twin Gear juicers in our range.
Its unique single cutter mechanism deals more efficiently than other slow speed juicers with softer fruits and soft apples like Cox's but unfortunately makes it unsuitable for
Wheatgrass. Leafy greens need to be fed through with harder produce like carrots. The Champion juicer is a great choice if you predominantly juice fruits and vegetables or if you intend to juice a lot of soft fruits.
The Champion Juicer 2000+ is also great for making smoothies, baby food, sauces, purees, nut butters, sorbets and ice cream by using the included homogenising screen. An optional
Large Hole screen for softer fruits can be purchased which allows more of the pulp to pass in to the juice, thus reducing the blocking problems associated with masticating juicers.
An optional
Grain Mill attachment is also available for milling your own flour or grinding coffee, this accessory is as well built as the Champion juicer.
Note: The Champion Juicer does require the user to have hand strength as the produce needs to be pushed through the machine rapidly, customers with weak hands should consider a Single Auger machine.
