The Polaclear Water Filter Model Oilvia AQP-10CS by Aquaport is an attractive and compact countertop home water cooler with rapid TTX thermo-electric cooling. It has a capacity of 3 litres of filtered water which is held in a hygienic stainless steel tank, plus a further 1.5 litres in the reservoir. When you draw water off, the water in the reservoir filters at 0.3 litres per minute.
The Aquaport Water Cooler has two taps, one to dispense cold filtered water which is chilled at 2 litres per hour to 6ºC and the other to dispense room temperature filtered water which is ideal for filling kettles, watering plants etc. Once water is cooled the auxiliary mode utilises a measly 15 watts of power to maintain the temperature which is far more economical than other brands of water cooler. The water filter has a handy rear drainage plug for complete draining prior to changing the filter or cleaning.
The Aquaport AQP-10CS Water Filter utilises an advanced activated carbon filter which removed odours, chlorine and other heavy metals improving the taste and the filter life is approximately 3 months or 200 litres of filtered water. A handy cartridge filter life indicator lets you know when the filter needs replacing.
TTX™ technology operates as a solid-state heat pump as DC current flows through it and heat is transferred from one side to the other, creating a hot and cold side. Modules can be designed so that temperatures can be precisely controlled and maintained at a constant level.
