| 1. | Place the lid on the container. Close both locks on the side of lid. |
| 2. | Place or fit the pump on the centre of the lid and start to pump. With the manual pump, when there is no more air in the container the pump handle will not pull up; With the electric pump, the light will flash while extracting air and will stay lit once completed. |
| 3. | Check that the canister & lid are completely sealed. |
| 4. | How to release vacuum and open? - Lift the Grey silicon button to release. |

| Q1. | What if the seal does not feel tight and doesn’t vacuum after a while? |
| A1. | Check both locks on the side of lid are properly closed before pump the air out. If the lid was not closed, air will leak out during the pump process. Or, check the silicon button on the lid is in proper position, turn it till it moves freely. |
| Q2. | How I do know it is vacuumed? |
| A2. | With the manual pump, when there is no more air in the container the pump handle will not pull up; With the electric pump, the light will flash while extracting air and will stay lit once completed. |
| Q3. | Hand Pump doesn’t work or gets harder to pump by itself. |
| A3. | Spray cooking oil or drop a small amount of cooking oil inbetween the gap on the hand pump (find the tiny hole to apply oil). |
| Q4. | How to wash vacuum container without scratching? |
| A4. | Dishwasher safe or use soft wash cloths when hand-washing. |
| Q5. | What if the inner cap on the lid is missing? |
| A5. | It doesn’t affect vacuuming. |
| Q6. | Are they Microwave and Freezer safe as well? |
| A6. | Yes they are. For microwave use, remove the button & inner cap on the lid for ventilation. |
| Q7. | Are they impact proof even if in frozen? |
| A7. | The containers are very strong (will almost never crack or break) but the lids and trays are not quite as strong as containers. Avoid dropping when frozen if possible. |
